The Tranchet is an ancestral tool with a very recognizable blade profile. Called "Kiridashi" in Japan or "Shoe knife" among Anglo-Saxons, it is used in many fields such as wood, leather or steel work.
Its pure design and its profiled tip make it a very versatile throwing weapon in instinctive throwing (no spin and half spin) but also in rotation. With its 6mm thick and 25cm long, it reaches the contained weight of approximately 215g. Very handy at all distances, it provides unique throwing sensations.
